Duolingo Interaticve Reading Section

This is the newest section introduced by the DET. Here, a passage is presented and you are expected to choose the right word based on the context. Each blank has options. But if you are comfortable with English, you will not need any options. You can directly answer the questions. Here is one sample set of questions from the Interactive Reading Section of the DET.

Here you can see that the first answer is time.  How do we know? Because of the way the sentence is structured. Usually, we say, this is my first day or time. Since the word that follows the blank is in the ING form, we know that it cannot be day. It has to be 'time'.
