Humans are genetically tuned for laughter. It is not acquired. It is innate. Hardwired. Across all cultures, the sound and recognition of laughter is not similar, it is EXACTLY the same. And even babies that are born deaf and blind still laugh involuntarily - and this also genuine laughter and not as a response to tickling.
